DEBBE EDWARDS is a Native American sculptor who lives on a farm outside Miami, Oklahoma. She began sculpting in wood in 1990, and over the years has ventured into stone and bronze. Growing up in the country, most of her work is focused on realistic animals and wildlife.
Her respect, patience, love and deep insight for animals is reflected in her sculptures, with each piece having its own character and mood.
Debbe has been teaching woodcarving seminars for the past 18 years, traveling throughout the United States and Canada, and frequently judges Woodcarving Shows across the country. She has won numerous awards with her art, competing at Indian Art Shows and Fine Art Shows.
Several of her pieces can be found in private and corporate collections, nationally and internationally.
