This has certainly been a milestone kind of day for the Cherokee art group known as, "Cherokee Women In Art".  We are scheduled to exhibit our art at Woolaroc Museum, Bartlesville, OK from May 18 through July 14.  The Opening Reception date will be announced soon.  As soon as we have more information, we'll surely post it for you to see.  We are very excited. 

Welcome to Cherokee Women In Art – 5 award-winning, Cherokee women artists who are members of the Cherokee Nation of Oklahoma, including: Verna Bates (gourd art), Debbe Edwards (sculptor), Sharon Irla (oil paintings), Katherine Rackliff (basketry), and Victoria Mitchell Vazquez (pottery).
